My Strategies for Achieving New Year's Resolutions

It's that time of year again when we reflect on the past and set goals for the future. As you build consistency, you can gradually increase the duration and intensity of your workouts. Wouldn't you feel better if you could add on to your goals instead of having to stop or quit because you started to big?? This isn't necessarily the time for a huge life overhaul, start with what you know you can realistically manage!

2. Find an Accountability Partner

Having someone to hold you accountable can make a world of difference. Find a friend or family member who shares similar health goals and commit to supporting each other. You can exercise together, share recipes, and celebrate each other's milestones (no matter how small or big!). Having someone by your side can make the journey more enjoyable and increase your chances of success.

3. Make it Enjoyable

Resolutions don't have to be a chore. Find activities that you genuinely enjoy and incorporate them into your routine. If you hate running, don't force yourself to do it. Try different forms of exercise like dancing, swimming, or hiking. When you enjoy what you're doing, you're more likely to stick with it. 

4. Celebrate Small Wins

Don't forget to celebrate your achievements along the way, no matter how small they may seem. Recognize and reward yourself for sticking to your health resolutions.
