Mother Tallow Cream

While the Mother Tallow is great for any skin type, it works exceptionally well for those with congested, stressed, dull, and parched skin. Pasture-raised, grass-fed, and finished suet tallow is botanically infused with organic echinacea, marshmallow root and leaf, peppermint, hyssop, lavender, and juniper. We then add Washington AEA-certified emu oil and Oregon extra virgin olive oil and combine the ingredients into a luxurious, creamy, velvety consistency. This unique blend of ingredients is intended to brighten, replenish, invigorate, and restore radiance to the skin. The aroma of Mother is gentle and evocative, conjuring up images of lavender fields in full bloom during the beautiful Oregon summers. The scent is complemented by subtle notes of damp, resinous juniper trees and refreshing mint tea, creating a unique and delightful aroma that is both calming and invigorating.

One of the key compounds in echinacea is caffeic acid, a potent antioxidant that can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Another compound is rosmarinic acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties and can help soothe and calm irritated skin. Echinacea contains compounds such as flavonoids and alkylamides. These compounds have been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and may help protect the skin from oxidative stress.
